Its the first day of October...lets get cozy

Happy October 1st everyone, for the next month (or two if we could be so lucky) we are blessed with crisp air, beautiful foliage and the ability to wear cozy, pretty sweaters like the one above without hiding it under a parka. The sweater in the image above is from Minkpink's Fall/Winter 2013 collection, and even though I first laid eyes on it in August, during a heat wave, I pictured myself wearing it during a crisp fall day much like today, with a pair of skinny jeans or even over a cute leather skirt paired with some flat booties.

There is just something about October that motivates me to dress a bit nicer and really brings out that shopping bug. The sweater above (also by Minkpink) is the perfect example of something that should be showed off before the winter weather arrives. You can give your bare shoulders their last glimps of the sunlight before covering them up under layer after layer of clothing for the next 4 months....I shudder at that thought.
