How do you compliment today's crazy nail art trend? The answer of course is jewelry; lots of it!
Ladies and two gentlemen (dad and husband), you've heard of "Arm Parties", now I submit to you the "Finger Party".
OK fine, I'm not so sure #fingerparty will begin trending any time soon, but my point is that stack-able, chunky rings hot, hot right now. Despite the fact that our finger nails have taken center stage over the past year the fashionable crowd is still adorning themselves with standout statement jewelry.
Yes 2013 was the year of nail art (and hopefully 2014, 2015 and so on). Because I have an addictive personality, and also because I like shinny things, I made a commitment last year to get some sort of nail art every time I get a professional manicure; for all of 2013. Well the year has come and gone and I cant stop, wont stop (cue Miley).
My latest mani is a reflection of another current obsession of mine...that's right, PLAID!
Lately I have been lusting after the Tissh by Gloria Lee 2013 collection. These 18kt gold plated rings can be easily transitioned from day to night and will most definitely compliment all the crazy nail art you can conjure up. If you're not on board with the nail art trend they can be the perfect pallet for a clean, sexy look.
My latest mani is a reflection of another current obsession of mine...that's right, PLAID!
Throughout the year a lot of people have asked if having such "busy" nails deters me from wearing rings or bracelets. The answer is, OF COURSE NOT!
I wear my wedding band and engagement ring every single day on my left hand, and on my right hand usually some variation of the many gold stack-able rings and cocktail rings I have collected over the years.
I believe the right selection of rings can make a manicure look even more fabulous than bare fingers.
BONUS: I happen to be giving away two rings to one lucky reader!
Open to all Canadian residents. Contest closing date: December 8th 2013.
Good luck!
