Design Exchange Politics of Fashion | Fashion of Politics: An Exhibition Curated by Jeanne Beker
Design Exchange in Toronto is currently presenting an exhibit guest curated by none other than fashion elite Jeanne Beker. How clothing has been a form of expression of political ideals and identity is presented in this eclectic range of fashions from across the decades. The exhibit, which opened only days ago will run until January 25th, 2015 and houses archives from Hussein Chalayan, Maison Martin Margiela, Jeremy Scott, Moschino, PETA, and more, over 200 pieces of work to be exact.
Apart from the exhibit itself Design exchange is also presenting four talks on September 29, October 7, October 28 and November 17. More info on these events can be found HERE.
