Bucket List

The day has come, I will turn 30 today, officially just before lunch (even the day I was born I arrived just on time, I never skip meals, and I am never late).

I think turning 30 is a great time to reflect on the memories you have made over the years bust also a perfect chance for you to set out your goals for the next 30 years. And if you’re OCD like me then you already have that laid out in DETAIL.

I won’t bore you with my life goals because after all this is a fashion blog, and I figure a fashion post would be more up you alley. Therefore I have put together my “fashion bucket list”.

I’d bet most women and even some fashionable men have a list like this in their head, more of a wish list, but superficially fashion related.  If you haven’t already guessed it I have fashion on my mind a lot, I am always looking for sales, new brands, new store openings and scoping out designer stuff I can’t always afford but one day hope to make my own.

So, check it out below, the Top 5 of my fashion bucket list.

1. Burberry trench coat: I have coveted a Burberry trench for many, many years. As a teen I had my eyes on the classic beige trench but over the past few years with the evolution of the brand I have fallen in love with the less-classic styles.  A friggin Burberry Prorsum Trench is what this girl wants!

THIS one is nice, really nice; the only issue is the price tag. One day Jenn…one day…
2. Chanel Bouclé Jacket: most women want to get their hands on the famous quilted Chanel purse, you know the one every star and socialite carries with the double C’s and the chain link shoulder strap. While it is no doubt a gorgeous purse I have never been a huge fan. My biggest Chanel dream is to own a WHITE bouclé jacket. Coco Chanel created the bouclé jacket back in 1954 and even though I wasn't even born nor was my mother I have wanted one ever since…figure that one out.

3. Marc Jacobs Mice: I can check this one off the list – woohoo!  I always wanted to start a collection of Marc mice, I now have 6 pairs, which my husband would argue isn't a true collection if compared to his bobble head collection, but nonetheless I believe it to be a fairly impressive collection of rodent shoes that I hope to continue to build until I grow too old to pull them off. But I think we've already discussed this and you can never be too old for Marc Jacobs anything!

4. Shopping at Louis Vuitton on Champs Elysees: this would be what I call an amazing fashion experience. As was shopping at Miu Miu and Gucci at the Spanish Steps in Rome when I did so two years ago. The last time I was in Paris I was a starving student, unable to hardly afford dinner let alone a Louis Vuitton purse, although if I ever got the chance to shop there again I would obviously go straight to the shoes...do you know me at all?
5. Shoe Closet : An entire wall of shoes, in a spare bedroom turned into my closet. I think this one is pretty self-explanatory.

Do you have a fashion bucket list? As always, let me know via the comments below.

On a non fashion related note, its really amazing to wake up to messages, emails, and even  a phone call all the way from Dubai, from family and friends who are expressing their love for you on you're birthday. I really hope the next 30 years are just as awesome as the past 30 have been. Thanks everyone :)
