Toronto Happenings: Thomas Sabo
If you're not already familiar with the Thomas Sabo brand, let me of course give you a short history lesson, because you know how much I love educating you peeps. The brand has been around since the 80's, and while they are especially known for their sterling silver they also produce stunning diamond and gold designs (more on this in a bit). In recent years they have branched out with their Charm Club in 2006, watches in 2009, and even perfumes in 2010. Charm Rose being their newest fragrance, which literally smells like freshly cut roses, its sublime!
I describe the fall line as dainty but not to be messed with, its still got that edge that Thomas Sabo is known for while avoiding chunky in your face designs, which is basically everything I want in my jewelry. I would love to own every single piece I laid eyes on last week, and that's not just because I am a hoarder.
Thomas Sabo is known for taking current trends and putting their own twist on them, the "stack-able ring" is a perfect example of that. The trend has been around for a short while and has pooped up in many jewelry designers lines over the past year. I'm a sucker for tri-colored jewelry the silver, yellow gold and rose gold combo has to be my favorite jewelry trend of the last 3 years.
Also, in things that are stack-able and tri-color; these bangles. This set is such a versatile addition to any wardrobe.
Now, I want you all to meet my latest obsession. The new Glam & Soul line includes this STUNNING feather design. The collection includes a dainty set of tiny earrings, this gorgeous long necklace a bracelet rings, and a CRAZY ear cuff....see below.

So tell me, what do you think of the new collection and the direction the brand is taking? Which piece is your favorite?

The Round Up: July 5th 2013
Today I am feeling random, maybe it was the short work week, or the fact that I can’t wait for the weekend to begin, but I can’t seem to focus on one thing today.
I am all over the map, and so is this round up, I hope you enjoy it :)
1. Dannijo Pete Earrings: Oh Flamingo Pete I love you, and I love these earrings. I am bordering on obsessive with my love for this jewelry line. Available from Shopbop, there’s a large stash right now, including SALE items! I repeat, SALE!
2. NARS lipstick – speaking of obsessed, I
have fallen truly madly and deeply in love with these NARS satin lip pencils.
For those of us who can’t apply lipstick properly (I’m not the only one, right?)
these are the solution!
“Lodhi” is my go-to shade. It seems to go
with everything I’m wearing, and really brightens up my complexion. A bit of
bronzer + this lip stick and I am fresh faced and ready to go. You can find it at any Sephora store or online. Even more amazing, their Velvet Matte LipPencil (if you’re into Matte, which you should be!)
“Never Say Never – Lilac Rose” is definitely
the next one I’m trying out. It looks like the perfect summer shade.
3. Last night I visited Anthropologie for a little summer fashion show. Their current collection is really romantic, filled with lace, floral patterns, cute girly rompers, lots of open backs and cut out shapes and even some light weight summer leather. I am pretty obsessed with this skirt. It will be the perfect addition to my summer wardrobe, and I would style it similar to the photo below with a thin cotton cami, OR even with a chambray shirt tucked in, even a plain white racer back tank would work.
Anthropologie Swing Skirt . Ohhh, and I could pair those fantastic
flamingo earrings with this look!
Wishing everyone a perfect weekend, I will be partying it-up with one of my very best friends’ to celebrate her last few weeks of the single life. Yes that’s right, its bachelorette time, woohoo! I just love girl’s weekends!

Im Obsessed with: Jewelry Edition
If you have a healthy jewellery and accessory obsession but don't want to invest thousands then this post is for you.
This week’s shopping post is about costume jewellery because lately I have noticed a trend.Several established fashion designers have branched out this spring to expand or introduce a new jewellery line with into their collection. These non-jewellery designers seem to know what they are doing despite not being necessarily known for designing jewels they offer a wide array of gorgeous accessories; the best part is that most items are under $200.
So why break the bank at a jewellery store when you can visit the local mall, or shop from the comfort of your couch and find all of the beauties shown below?
1. BCBG: if you read my blog regularly this will not come as a shock to you, I love their jewellery line. I've been a long time supporter because of the affordable price point and also the high quality. Don't those emerald earrings remind you of the ones Angelina Jolie wore to the Oscars a few years ago?
2.Tory Burch:when you walk into Tory Burch the jewellery is scattered around here and there and can easily be missed amongst the stunning beaded and embellished silks and linens hanging on the racks. Understandable, but next time you're looking for a not too serious piece, or a statement cuff why not take a look at what Tory has to offer.
3. Michael Kors: not just known for watches any more, the jewellery line is dainty and very wearable for every day. Faux tortoiseshell and rose gold are definitely a winning combo and are so easy to just throw on without thinking too hard
4. Rebecca Minkoff:umm...have you seen THIS yet? If not, then stop reading, and click and watch (but then come back to my blog pretty please, at least finish reading this post sheeesh). You will then understand why I added Rebecca Minkoff's new jewellery line to this post. Mad bonus points for the sexy Leandra Medine as her jewellery muse/model.

The Details: Gold Accessories
Throw on some gold accessories next time your outfit is lacking, trust me on this one...
Check out the pic above, that is me doing my best impersonation of the drape behind me, which isn't necessarily a bad thing in this instance because the point of this post isn't to admire the lame colour of my shirt which does absolutely nothing for my pasty white complexion, but rather to discuss the accessories. So keep your eyes off of my drape-shirt which blend together seamlessly and focus on the details.
I think the point I am trying to make here is
that you should try adding some gold accessories to your wardrobe. And now I'm going
to say it, it can take you from drab to fab

Gold accessories! That is all you need to know. I have been
addicted to gold accessories for quite some time because they are so easy
to throw on and do wonders when your outfit is a little bland.
I have also been ranting about BCBG jewellery for the past few months because after several years of wearing their stuff it has become the tried, tested and true and not to mention affordable. It’s hardly considered an investment when a piece of jewellery is under $100, and not to mention their stuff doesn't tarnish or fall apart, for ex I've had this necklace for over a year now.

And in case you’re asking why I appear to be having a
conversation with the little friend on my clutch, well the answer is pretty
obvious, I have two dogs but I don’t have a pet Panther, and I wouldn't mind
one.

The More The Merrier
Here in Toronto its still pretty frigid at the moment, its been a long harsh winter and I haven't seen my own arms in months. I've been hiding under layers for far too long now, and all I can think about is spring. You may have seen my past posts about the skirts, and strappy sandals, I am coveting for Spring 2013, am I making it obvious enough, I am l REALLY looking forward to the end of this dreary winter. And with that I will be layering on the accessories once the snow thaws.
Why wait for spring to play up my accessories you ask? Well, maybe some of you who live in cooler climates can attest to this, winter is not exactly conducive to accessory overload. Earrings get stuck inside your toque eh, rings stop you from wearing gloves and no sane person would skip gloves in -20 Celsius. Don't even try to wear a stack of bangles, there's is no point since they will be hidden by your sweater, plus they will get caught in the arm of your coat which is uber annoying.
This week in anticipation of the much warmer and cheerier weather I have put together a collage of my top accessory picks. I have scoured my my fav on-line shopping sites to bring you my top accessories under $50, under $100, under $200 and even a few "splurge" items. P.S if you follow me on Pinterest you know I have a whole board dedicated to accessories which I just updated with tons of new eye candy.
Under $50 clockwise from top: anchor earrings J.Crew, ring Kate Spade, lips earrings Marc by Marc Jacobs, gold cuff BCBG, tribal necklace Zara, ring Kate Spade.

Under $100: necklace J.Crew, leather wrap Tory Burch, gold knot ring Tory Burch, aqua earrings from this cute Etsy shop

Under $200: ring Kenneth Jay Lane, gold and stone cuff BCBG

Splurge! YSL ring from Net-a-porter, gold cuff Tory Burch, multi colour stone bib necklace Kate Spade, stud cuff Valentino from Net-a-porter
